1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of ASAPLegal.com and public website features provided by ASAP Legal, LLC (“ASAP Legal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
2. Website information is general information
Website content is provided for general informational and business purposes. It is not legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney or for confirming current court rules, filing fees, deadlines, calendars or local procedures directly with the applicable court or authority.
ASAP Legal is a litigation support and attorney-services provider; use of this website does not create an attorney-client relationship.
3. Requests for services
Submitting a Contact, Request Account or other website form is a request to communicate with ASAP Legal and does not by itself guarantee acceptance, availability, completion, pricing or timing of any assignment. Service-specific terms, rates, written agreements, court requirements and operational confirmations may apply.
Do not assume an assignment has been accepted or a deadline protected until ASAP Legal has confirmed the applicable service request through an authorized communication or workflow.
4. Client Access and third-party platforms
The website may link to or provide an interface for third-party or separately operated client systems, including WinServe, Records Retrieval / Deposition Officer and Self-Service eFile. Those systems may have separate terms, privacy notices, security controls and availability requirements. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials used with client platforms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with availability or security, introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest information in a manner that violates law or these Terms, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or misleading content, or use the website to infringe the rights of ASAP Legal or others.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, website design, branding, logos, text, graphics and original website content are owned by or licensed to ASAP Legal and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use public website materials for ordinary informational purposes but may not reproduce, modify, distribute or exploit protected content without authorization, except as permitted by law.
7. Court calendars, fee schedules and resources
Resource pages are provided as practical references. Courts, agencies and jurisdictions may change fees, schedules, forms, procedures and closure information without notice. You are responsible for confirming current requirements with the applicable court or authority before relying on a resource for a filing, deadline or proceeding.
8. Website availability and disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and public resources are provided on an “as available” basis. ASAP Legal does not warrant that public website access will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every item of public information will always reflect the most recent court or third-party change.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ASAP Legal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising solely from use of or inability to use the public website or reliance on general website information. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Separate service agreements may contain different terms governing paid services.
10. Third-party links
Links to courts, social networks, client platforms or other third-party websites are provided for convenience. ASAP Legal does not control third-party content, availability or privacy/security practices and is not responsible for them.
11. Governing law
Except where applicable law requires otherwise or a separate written service agreement controls, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as the website, services or applicable requirements evolve. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless a different effective date is stated.
